This is a pre-release is designed for developers to start making web applications for the platform. This version provides many bug fixes from the previous version. New features include built-in search capability, and new database-independent query features. Improvements have also been made to the DRE (Distributed Resource Environment) features to simplify the task of accessing some web API's. The core object system has also been modified to provide dynamic production of property values.
This is a pre-release is designed for developers to start making web applications for the platform. Most of the API is now stable enough that developers may begin writing their own themes and applications for the platform. As this is a developer beta release some of the API may change. Please use our forums, wiki, and documentation to help you start using the platform. This version provides support for new document types, a new API layer, a DOM Implementation Registry, and fixxes some bugs which were found in v1.0.0.
